About the Artist : Chris Wright is a self-taught artist born and raised in Norfolk. Chris now lives in Surrey, working as a Professional Wildlife Artist and School Teacher.
Chris Wright was Highly Commended at the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year awards 2010 and shortlisted for the same award in 2011 and 2012, Chris Wright’s reputation continues to grow internationally, selling to private collectors worldwide. A percentage of his art profits is donated to the Born Free Foundation.
Chris’ drawings have also proven very popular and lucrative lots, auctioned at high profile star-studded fundraising events. To date, his work has raised over £14,000 for organisations such as the Sumatran Orang-utan Society, Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the Environmental Investigation Agency, WildAid and Born Free.
Giclée Printing is a process of producing fine art digital prints using inkjet printers and archival inks.
