About the artist. Marie Brown was a finalist in the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year 2012. She works mainly in pencil, colour pencil and watercolour. She started drawing as a hobby enjoying the skill required to do fur. As her work developed and became more detailed she decided to do it as a career.
