Linocut, also known as lino print, lino printing or linoleum art, is a printmaking technique, a variant of woodcut in which a sheet of linoleum is used for a relief surface
About the artist : Alison Read is an honours graduate of Newcastle University with a degree in fine art. Her quirky character filled artwork has always been highly popular at the Jardine Gallery and makes many customers smile. Alison’s love for wildlife easily shows through in her pieces. She has had her work published noticeably in “The Printmakers Cat” by Alan Marshall
