About the Artists : Claire and Karen Gibson are from Belfast, Northern Ireland. They set up Red Earth Designs in 2001. Both the twins have a Masters Degree in Fine and Applied Art from the University of Ulster at Belfast. Their work is decoracted in a mixture of insects and delicate plant life. Claire and Karen work in porcelain, a very fine white clay that is translucent, it was first developed in China.
