About the artist : Gillian McMillan has a Masters in Industrial Design from Stoke on Trent Polytechnic. She worked at Myott Meakin as a designer before establishing her own studio known as “The Other Pottery”. Her work is made in Porcelain, fired to 1260c and then has liquid lustre designs painted on before re-firing to 700c
Gillian is a regular participant in the Potfest International Ceramic Festivals and exhibits in galleries around the UK.
