About the artist – Shelly Perkins has a love for wildlife, conservation and a passion for travel. Her work is highly unusual as she creates her pictures using both traditional and contemporary techniques. Shelly Perkins paintings start of as line drawings with watercolour washes which she then scans into a computer and then works on building up layers within her picture. A finished piece can comprise of 150 layers to the artwork which is then giclee printed. Her pictures are all small limited editions of 50
