About the artist : Becka’s Insect’s continually grows in variety as each year Becka Gauld adds new creative ideas and species to her collection. Her subjects now include spiders, bees, dragonflies, ladybirds leafcutter ants and stick insects.
Becka studied Entimology at University and now combines her love of insects and wildlife with her scientific knowledge. Using mixed media which includes silver wire, marbles, sea glass, driftwood and copper she brings her insects to life.
Becka Gauld lives and works in Edinburgh, Scotland.
