About the artist – Linda Lovatt is an artist based in the borders of Scotland. Linda started working with the delicacy and strength of fine metalworking and experimenting in different patinas, so Beastie Assemblage was born. Digging around in her garden Linda found bits of old china pottery, keys and old bottles which she started to incorporate in her work.

Linda Lovatt now creates a wide range of pieces in her own very unique and quirky style. I came across her work while visiting Jedburgh with my children about 10yrs ago. Since then I have regularly had her work in the Jardine Gallery where it has proved popular.
