About the artist : Nick Day‘s artwork was highly influenced by Victrian hand tinted etchings. From this he has developed his own technice of using water based medium over detailed engravings on hardened board. In 1982 he established himself as a professional wildlife artist specialising in mainly birds.
Nick Day has exhibited with the Society of Wildlife Artists, the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation and Artists for Conservation whom he was elected a member of in 2019.
