Illustrating botanicals became a passion of Lisa Holley‘s after studying the works of 16th-century artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Drawing plants, flowers and insects, involving the viewer in another dimension of thought, is a challenge during the creation. It is fascinating for Lisa Holley to observe the reactions people have to the finished work.
Lisa Holley has been supplying the Jardine Gallery with her work since 2009. Her artwork has been a very popular topic of discussion for visitors to the gallery and has sold to collectors around Europe and the States.
