Starry Mouse Jewellery is based in Perth, and specialises in original wax cast animals local to Scotland and animals depicted in past cultures. Starry Mouse Jewellery is a start up company just recently established, who have a diversifying range of work in progress. The Jardine Gallery likes to encourage new businesses as well as established artists and it is our pleasure to have them involved.
About the process
The animal is carved by hand from a specialist wax then sent to a casters to be cast in bronze or silver. It is then cleaned, polished and finished. A jump ring (small hoop) is soldered on to the casting and a chain or earwires added.

Some pieces are completely one off, others are small batch cast.
