Mandi Baykaa-Murray fondly known as ‘The Feather Lady’ is an artist inspired by the natural world. She paints exquisite images of birds on real, moulted feathers using acrylics — tiny, delicate canvases that remind her how closely our lives are interwoven with nature.

Each feather she finds and paints carries a story of renewal and belonging. Her process is slow and mindful, guided by respect for every feather’s origin and for the life it once lifted. Through her work, Mandi hopes to create gentle spaces for reflection — small reminders that we’re not apart from nature, but part of it.

Mandi has won numerous awards for her paintings and is proud be represented by several galleries throughout the UK, selling regularly to collectors in both the UK and Internationally. (Although she now sells exclusively within the UK) Mandi’s website tells you where and when she will be exhibiting, under ‘Feathers On Tour’. Her painting ‘Feathered Friend’ was selected as a finalist in the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of The Year 2014 where it sold during the Exhibition in The Mall Galleries, London.
