Regular classes are held at the gallery for both children and adults. They run in 8 week blocks normally and can be enrolled into at any point while spaces are available.

The next block of classes starts on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th August.

Course Costs £68.00* to be paid in full at the time of booking or at the first lesson.

A course of classes aimed at encouraging adults to try their hand at hand building using clay. Starting with pinch pots and coiling classes quickly move on to small personal projects that allow you to draw inspiration from a huge variety of sources, your pet, wildlife, an artist you particularly like, ancient archaeology or the latest design. The choices are open to you.

Other techniques like slabing, burnishing and press mold making are introduced, as your work requires.Classes are designed for small groups of up to 8 so that everyone gets a good amount of personal tuition and are held in a fun friendly relaxed manner for people of all skill levels. Completed work will be fired and finished in slips, glazes, and oxides or painted. Complimentary tea and coffee will be available during classes.

*covers up to the first 25kg of clay, glazes and firings. Additional clay may be purchased if required.
